La Jolla's Best Brunch Restaurants

Below is a partial list of La Jolla restaurants that serve brunches. There are others in the area, but these are my favorites. In addition to outstanding food, they also serve bottomless mimosas / champagne.

CUSP Dining and Drinks
CUSP serves brunch from 8 AM to 2 PM on Saturdays and Sundays. Make sure to try their crab one-eye Jack Benedict with brioche. Located on the 11th floor of the Hotel La Jolla, 7955 La Jolla Shores Dr.

Crab Catcher
Brunch served on Sundays from 10 AM to 3 PM. Favorite dish is the Southern-style blue crab cakes with Old Bay spices and topped with poached eggs and a spicy remoulade sauce. Located at 1298 Prospect Street in La Jolla.

Public House
This local favorite doesn't technically serve breakfast, but is a La Jolla landmark and serves outstanding culinary delights for lunch or dinner. Their Calamari and Maryland Crab Cakes are phenomenal and the burgers are the best in town. Located at 830 Kline Street at the Bishop Lane intersection.

Herringbone
A true California treasure, Herringbone serves brunch from 10 to 2 on weekends, offering bottomless mimosas for just $15! Wonderful brunch menu, including an out-of-this-world Brioche French Toast with warm maple syrup and seasonal jams. They also have a diverse lunch and dinner menu, and accept reservations for any time of the day. Located at 7837 Herschel, between Silverado and Wall St.
